Some people say that people experience a "Mid Life Crisis" around mid 40's or so. For me I like to call it a "Mid life awakening". I have to say that the last 10 years have presented some tough challenges, but would I change anything? HELL NO! I am where I am today because of them, and feel very fortunate.

I have come to really enjoy the quiet moments to reflect back to all the great times in my life, all the way back to childhood. I even have reflected back to some times that weren't so great. I still hear those great words that my Mom and dad always said to me and they have carried me through thus far. I am grateful for my husband and daughters who have helped me stay strong in my hardest moments and continue to do so everyday.

I have always been a giver and put everyone else before me and now I am being a bit more" Its about me", BUT I still have consideration and compassion for all. Do what makes you feel, good, happy, peaceful.. or whatever. You will find that very simple things will do that for you. I like to look at old pictures and laugh, smile cry etc. Reflection helps you stay grounded and never forget where you were, either good or bad, and where you may or not want to be now.

Stay strong, fabulous, awesome and take care of "you"

Happy Sunday!!!
