TweetI still cant believe it. I will get over this but I am freakin pissed. I hate alcohol and what it does to people. I hate it for destroying lives, causing child abuse, killing innocent people, wrecking careers.
I am not downing anyone who wants to have a drink, but I am saying that alcohol is one of the worst things we have in our culture.
I know there will be people who will say "Its a choice"..Like it wasnt alcohol that killed my friend but his decision to drink did.
Well, I dont know about that, But its glamorized in our culture and I think that is WRONG and sends a horrible message to kids. I despise the shit with a passion. Especially today

TweetDzone it had it's claws in me for a year about six years ago I lost two jobs almost lost my wife drinking is all I did from the time I woke up till I went to sleep it's a demon it took over my life because I let it in then the drinking had control I put myself in detox I blew .27 at 7 am I stays in for two mths the witdrawls were bad but they put us on phenobarbital to stop the side withdrawals can kill u I have been sober since it's a hard demon to defeat I know ur freind is in a better place I wish he had survived I do god bless u and his family I tell people who drink too much to learn from my mistakes and there is a saying ( it takes one to know one) well I was one and I tell people that and my story hopeing to help them I tried with my uncle but after 30 years of drinking it took his life and no one could make him stop. I really think the stuff should be banned but that will never happen.

TweetIt makes me sick that it is ok that alcohol and tobacco are "ok" across the board all because of the money they generate. The US Government & elected officials have no problem legislating morality, unless it hits them in the wallet. Even worse the morality is skewed. Its disgusting.

TweetI'm very sorry dzone, my uncle died from liver trouble years ago. I dont mind if someone drinks a beer or two but intoxication from any substance is something I've grown to really hate, nothing good ever comes from it ever and its a waste of time.
