TweetIt looks both fun and rough
TweetRan first spartan race 8/9/14 with my buddy's team. He ran this with a torn mcl and something with the knee cap. Doc said he can't injure it any further than it is so he ran this one and has one in NJ in sep before he gets surgery. He has to run the trifecta in same calendar year or reebok doesn't recognize it as trifecta. This one was supposed to be about 3.5 miles but ended up being 5.8. I paced with him since the running part was my weakest part and we did it in 2 hours 27 mins. Obstacles were a blast.

TweetNice man. They are a good time. I did the beast in vermont. Our GPS clocked it at over 15mi.
They do a good job with the pics

TweetI want to do one but I can even run 1 mile straight right now lol
I never meant to be better than anyone, I was just born that way. Its hard being a god amongst peasants!
TweetGotta get the condition for the hills. They killed me. Doing another sprint in march in Charlotte then maybe man up for a super before going balls out for the fucking beast. Last race my buddy had his pal from nc doing his first one and he was dying under the barbed wire and he was like dude I'm not sure I can finish this and this chick stopped, looked back at him and said "Spartan up buttercup" and kept going. Gotta love it. The camaraderie it builds is unbelievable. Lot of fun.not gonna lie tho, drive home my feet felt like cartoon style swollen and throbbing from all the running with mud coated shoes and shit. Was sore for three days after that but I'm doing more of em. Hooked
Tweetlooks fun as hell... have always wanted to do one of these..
Tweetyou are more of a beast and animal than i am bigdawg. i freaking hate running with a passion and to do it for fun no freaking way. looks like a blast though

TweetWow u da man or I could not do it
TweetYup bro, after the beast my legs hurt for a week and a half. Felt like the lactic acid burned the bones in my legs. Fun but horrible, couldnt believe the girls that pulled through it.

TweetGood job btw, those races are much tougher than i expected. And unlike the tough mudder they hold you accountable for skimping on obstacles.

TweetRight? That's how I felt after a sprint race. Can only imagine the beast race aches and pains. And true enough on the ladies, kicked ass through all those obstacles
TweetFor sure running not my favorite thing. Kept thinking whole race dude what did I let you talk me into? But like the motto says when you finish you'll understand.
