yes...personal choices and not schools and businesses forcing them...i work in a medical/retirement community and when told to get flu shot i paid for it at walgreens and walked out with receipt without getting the shot...i'm not concerned with my ability to fight the flu and sick of getting flu symptoms from my body getting used to the flu shot so i did the right thing FOR ME...the residents at the community get all shots religiously without questioning why they need them constantly...

I agree I have never got a flu shot and more then likely never will.. I am with you if you choose to do so be my guest but I do not want my job or my government telling me I have to...

now if I am going to a different country and find out I need something once again I choose that..

TweetI'm with you guys on is topic. I'm a proud father and still very much anti-vaccine. Many studies have shown the side effects of these vaccines to be worst than the actual illness they are supposed to prevent. I don't get flu shots, lied to my college about the MMR, and to this day I have only one vaccination. I was required to get the Hep B shots for my former job.... As in they administered them to us.

I'm still convinced the best vaccine in the world is good ole fashion dirt.... Yep DIRT! Let kids play in the dirt. They will build up an immunity to damn near anything. (Ok this is a joke.... Kind of.... Lol)

I agree with you get the kids outside.. when I was growing up I played in the rain filled ditch in our front yard swam in the river right down the street. was never sick in school never had any ear problems to this day still don't have any cavities that's right never had one filling...I understand we are all different but I strongly think you keep a kid locked up in the house in front of the tv he will have a low immune system.. am I a dr no just common sense..

TweetI would like to see more parents do such a thing as get their kids outside to play...the problem is the majority dont. None of us want our kids to suffer with any illness but is things k=like colds flu and such that also help build up there immunity, ironically

Watching my kids even run a slight fever always makes me feel helpless. As a parent you never want to see your child feel sick. You are so right Baby, seems crazy that kids getting sick actually help build an immunity. But I'm still convinced a natural immunity is the way to go over a shot.

I know what you mean Fuzo and I alwasy pray to take away and give it to us. Once it worked and I woke up sick and she was better, I would take that in a heart beat. I honestly dont run to give her meds to lower the fever unless it gets to high, I do the same for me. A fever is our bodies way of fighting the sickness. Sam thing with inflammation, it is a way of the body healing but sometimes antis are necessary
