Tweetdam dude. sounds close, curious as to what caused it in the first place deffinatly take it easy
TweetJust got out from hospital--- 17 hours.
Wow!!!
All week I had felt something was very very wrong with me... But I did not make the time to get checked... Between 2 overly busy businesses I prioritized wrong.
Thursday night I went down hard.
Around 9pm I went into acute panic attack.
It lasted several hours
I paced all night long, my girlfriend stayed up with me.... We went to the store to get a bottle of orange juice (I am in prep so nothing but clean stuff at home)
We came back it was 1:30ish am
I took 30mgs of melatonin to put me to sleep... I barely closed y eyes for 1 hour.
Constant heavy pressure in chest area. Feeling very crazy.... Train of thought was incoherent.
At 11am I went to see a neuropath she gave me a natural remedy--- took blod pressure at 195
Told me to go to emergency right away for scans.
I took her paper. Went to emergency and they literally took me in within minutes.
I was shaking like a leaf. I could not ennounciate words clearly.
The doctors were amazing and very quickly ruled out heart attack.
Even though left side neck flexors were pulling me down.
Thu have me a pill and within 10 mins I was in wonderland.
They also hooked an IV
Blood work, heart scans all came back positive.
They had me pick up 10 of those amazing white pills. Rol me to be careful with them.
I went to my doctor who too me in quickly... And handed me 2 other prescriptions.
One 2 x times per day for 7 days
And one for 30 days once per day.
For now I need to reasses everything in my life.
My girlfriend stood by me every single step of the way.
God knows had I not checked into hospital I could have been dead now.
At 236lbs I don't advise the cycle I run. But I know I need to take a few week break from pinning.
After this experience I will never ever go without doing REGULAR blood work again.

TweetSo did they rule this out as a panic attck? You were having anxiety awhile ago, if I remember correct, right? They can also raise your bp and they do suck. Glad to hear you are feeling better and if they are panic attacks, meds do help in the moment but you will need to learn how to handle them when you have them and what methods work for you to get through them, or you will be making several trips to the ER. Believe me I know and I feel for you. What kind of script did the doc give you?

Tweetoops I just reread your thread. So it wasnt a panic attack then? All the tests came back positive for what?

TweetI have quetiapine and also risperidone
they ruled out heart attack.
but blood pressure 195 and the. A second reading of 175 20 mins later indicated blood pressure was risky.
compounded by those attacks I h e been having since feb this year.
i slept 12 hours straight. I feel good. Head is cloudy a bit. But I feel my full senses.
i am taking it easy all weekend but do want to hit the gym shortly.
what a mess that was ;(

TweetSo nothing was determined by all the test?
Glad you are feeling better. Sill makes you wonder what was the cause?
TweetSo diagnosis was high bp? How was your potassium level?

It says they are anti psychotic drus . I am not a medical professional at all, but I to wonder why they would prescribe those for wht you experienced. If it were me, I would be asking many questions before taking meds as I do all the time anyway

Tweetdamn brother, anxiety from a panic attack may just be one of the the most uncomfortable things in the world. glad you feel better.
TweetDamn man...scary ish. Glad you're feeling better
PAIN DON'T HURT
TweetAnxiety and panic attacks are horrible to have and to experience. I take medications for those . I'm glad your doing better B2 that must have been a scary experience but fortunately for you you weren't alone and you had your gf with you even tho I'm sure she was scared out of her mind too. Again I'm glad things turned out ok. But like Baby said you should find out about the meds you take.
TweetYou said you were preparing for a competition.... what is your bf%? Are you taking tren? Have you had this happen before preparing? Are you taking any stims?
Sorry for all the questions but when I get below a certain bf% and am on tren I get anxiety that causes mild panic attacks with elevated BP.
Tweetdamn bro i am glad you are ok!
I never meant to be better than anyone, I was just born that way. Its hard being a god amongst peasants!
TweetI've had those before. I thought I had heart problems but my doctor checked me out and said it was just from stress that my heart was great. It might sound hard to just do, but you got to find something that relaxes you when you start feeling that way.
