Anyway, it is a great read.
from the book by Norman Vincent Peale
"'You do not need to be defeated by anything, ...you can have peace of mind, improved health, and a never-ceasing flow of energy'. "The Power of Positive Thinking" is a practical, direct-action application of spiritual techniques to overcome defeat and win confidence, success and joy. Norman Vincent Peale, the father of positive thinking and one of the most widely read inspirational writers of all time, shares his famous formula of faith and optimism which he developed himself by trial and error whilst searching for a way of life. Millions of people have taken Peale's teachings as their own simple and effective philosophy of living. His gentle guidance helps to eliminate defeatist attitudes, to know the power you possess and to make the best of your life."

PAIN DON'T HURT
TweetBeing positive and surrounding yourself with positive ppl can make the biggest difference in how one goes through life. Negativity is a disease, I try and stay away from ppl like that. Iv always heard you become what your around and I think for the most part that's true especially when it comes to positivity and negativity. Just my thoughts on it.
TweetThere is no doubt that negative Nelly's contribute to their mental and physical erosion and decrepidation. Negativity is a stressor that releases all kinds of potent chemicals in the body that reek havoc. A positive mental perspective releases all the good stuff like endorphins (internal morphine). Who doesn't like that! Not a drug reference btw.
TweetThats a good book. He's a legend. I had that book on cassette tapes lol
...the longer I live, the more I am completely convinced that our inner thoughts are creating our outer reality. I see people who have created their own living hell by the repetitive thoughts and words they are stuck on. We do have a choice on how we are going to use our minds. The mind is like a garden that requires continuous care to prevent the weeds of negative thought to take root and choke off everything else. We can choose constructive, good thoughts, or allow by default, negative thoughts that do nothing but steal , kill and destroy.
Positive thinking takes practice in self control. We get better at it the more we consciously do it. Eventually, your brain can be trained to respond to every situation in the best way possible.
Its not the occasional thought that matters, it is the repetitive and continuous thought that manifests itself in reality. The Strangest Secret is this: We become what we think about.
