TweetI got my daughters Christmas list and she wants a real science kit. She tells me "not no baby kind either Mom"/. She says "I want beakers. liquids. microscope" etc. So I was thinking maybe you all might know wher I can get a good quality kit for a kid? She loves science and doing experiments. Wonder what we are in for?lol Anyway, any help would be much appreciated.

TweetWhat kind of science is she interested in? It would be a lot cooler if you found out her interests and tailored it to that.
Chemistry - making sugar crystals, volcanoes, mentos diet coke...etc
Biology - growing butterflies from caterpillars, similar stuff.
I'll find some nice ones when I get some free time.
Check out www.thinkgeek.com they have some cool science stuff there too.
TweetShe is interested in chemistry and making things fizz and erode, lol Think I wil just give her some baking soda and vinegar,

TweetDiet coke and mentos is probably the funniest thing for a kid.
