TweetI like the series too. I think the first 2 series were the best
TweetI am sure this has been posted about before but my lazy ass FINALLY got around to finishing the 5th season....WOW....This show has been amazing...I am starting the final season today and I love this damn program....I even read almost all of the books, which are quite different at times than the television show...
Who here likes True Blood?!

TweetYeahhhhh, I realized after posting that that I may have said too much lol...my ex loved em and she got me to..I'm not proud of it haha..
I'm a huge nerd underneath it all though, ppl laugh cuz I look the opposite
Tweetg its cool, your honest, and my monogamous encounter started reading that series and had me kind of thinking about it. she had a hard time though with the 1st book, said it fell in line pretty much with the series. so does that mean you know whats going to happen next season? i really enjoyed the 1st 3 seasons when the characters and relationships were more personal, started falling off after that, i thought they were coming off on a rebound with this last series but i wont say anymore than that other than i think you will definitely enjoy since you like season 1 - 5.
TweetSeason 6, I believe, is the final season...makes me sad lol...I'm pushing through 6 right now In my spare time...the only really good thing about the books is your imagination is better than watching it on tv...it gets hard to follow though and there are like 13-14 books! I read about the first 11 lol
TweetNEVERMIND lol..I was wrong..I just read there will be a 7th and final season lol...Apparently they are not following the books anymore past season 5...season 6 has parts from the books but the most is Alan Ball's own creation, the show's creator...
Tweetso do the seasons that do follow the books follow them by book, season one book 1 and so on? sometimes with series writers tend to fall off, like they are getting tired of the story, how does books 6 - 10 compare to 1 - 5?
Tweet6-10 get deep into ancillary characters, just a bunch of side stories, if you know what I mean...Like, it delves into Erik's maker (its not Godric in the books) and how one of the Romanov children from the Russian Czar days is actually a baby vamp...how Elvis became a vamp but is a little slow since he was so high at the time of his natural death lol...The first 5 seasons follow books 1-5 in some part, but only maybe 50% of the story....That author delves deep into side stories with more lovers for Sookie, way more shifters, etc etc etc lol
Sorry to ramble haha
