Tweetfor me it is maybe 2 days and when i get super silly 3-4 days tops. now if i take a week off from training them they hurt for up to 7 days
TweetThis is just a general question to all.
I don't know if it's my age or what. Might be lack of enough carbs in my total diet I'm not sure. It just seems while my upper body seems to recover in 2 days my legs take all week.
I always feel them for days. Trust me it's not because of these mind blowing leg training days. I try to hit them hard but I know as a single guy training legs my intensity is not off the hook.
I'm going to start adding a Intra drink Called Plazma to see if it starts the repair work right away. Product looks great and a very respected guy I know swears by it. I would know real quick If the feeling I have in my legs goes away after a few work outs with it.
Just wonder what how the older set feel their leg recover is.
Tks,
GC

Tweet3 days sometimes sometimes 2
TweetOne day. I could do legs eod.
TweetWe do hams one day and quads three days later. I stay sore for about 4-5 days on quads but we go very ****ing heavy
TweetAre any of you guys drinking a recover drink during your work outs? Anything thing to feed the muscle is a way>?
TweetMy favorite is by inner armor drawing a blank on the name but has more Luecine them any other.
Currently using Xtend bcaa, it's got electrolytes bcaa and glutamine.
This is very important to hv a bcaa supp midworkout
TweetYeah, I pound the Xtend during my work outs. Im ordering that product I mentioned about to see if it helps. Drive me nuts. I know I should me recovered.
TweetPlasma is nice but very expensive. It's hbcd's and pepto pro already mixed together. I use hbcd's eaa's glutamine and creatine intra workout with a good meal an hour before an ISo shake 20 or so after and a good meal an hour after. Really helps keep soreness down which means a can train more often.
TweetI would like to get into all this but shakes either mess me up or make me crap. Lots of water though. Maybe some sort of electrolyte for a long brutal workout.
All great questions here GC.
TweetFor me, a day or two, if i miss them one week, then 6-7 before soreness is gone.I drink a pre workout with 12oz of water 5grams of BCAA and 15grams of glutamine mixed with a propel flavor pac.

TweetDepends on volume for me. If I go real heavy low reps I'm week the day after sore on the third day then ok. If I do high volume I'm sore for the next three days. My post workout is just whatever meal I have after. Good question. For me it all depends on the routine.
Squats make the world go round.
TweetYeah the only time I'm sore for a week is if..God forbid..I miss a week and I don't do any recovery drinks
everything said and done here is for entertainment purposes only. i don't even really workout i just pretend like i do so i can have big friends
TweetJames you are aware of the product. If not for cost would you be using it ? I figured I'd get this bucket with some flavor
And give it a try. I will be a great test subject,

TweetI guess if money was no issue and I was to lazy to mix two ingredients then yes but you can buy glycofuse and peptopro and mix them to your desired ratio for less money. I used that mix for a while and it works great. I switched to eaas to save a little money and really notice no real difference
