TweetAnyone have any suggestions on what kind of mattress to get?? I currently have a memory foam, but its garbage. It's killing my lower back. I've been looking really hard at the sleep number.

TweetCrazy thing, I love sleeping on the floor. It never bothers me and my back feels great when I do. Go figure. I sleep on the floor probably 1/3 of the time. Sometimes I have gone weeks of just sleeping on the floor LOL
TweetSame here. I can't explain it but my back feels better. I pin a pillow under my legs cause of my big butt and sleep great.
TweetI got a pillow top mattress, I think that's what it's called anyway. Bed is pretty sweet.
Tweetgot a memory foam also. looking into a sleep number at the wifes request for the next go around.. funny thing about those memory foam beds is you sleep great until one day and then they seem to go to sh.t it aint even that old.. and wasn't cheap
TweetIf I was a doctor, I would tell more people to sleep on a piece of foam rubber on the floor LOL...I do use that when I sleep on the floor. It is almost like no padding at all, I throw a sleeping bag on top of it and its the best dam nights sleep you ever had..I sleep on a pillow top mattress too, and it doesnt make any difference. I can sleep either way. I still have a waterbed in one bedroom that I havent slept on in years but I used to love that thing.
Hell, from the looks of it, most mattresses are a colossal ripoff...might as well start at the bottom and get a mat for the floor and if that doesnt fix your problem, you can go up from there...You can still have sex on the couch and on the floor LOL

Tweeti went from a sleep# to a memory foam. sleep number sucks for me but love the memory foam. we went to the mattress store and lay down on all of them. even the cheapies. we found what we liked best
TweetI got a memory foam mattress with a foundation frame. Not the most expensive but had it for 5 years and sleeps great. It is warm in the winter and cool in the summer
TweetI just got last year a King Opal pillow top mattress for 1800...The most comfortable mattress ive ever slept in!
I have back and neck problems and I definatly feel the difference if I sleep at a hotel or somewhere else...I want another one for the spare room...My ole lady calls it the marsh mello cause she dosent ever wanna get outta bed
TweetI have two Serta pillowtops kingsize. Really comfortable but cheap and start to sag over the years for sure.
Dream Big and create it...
TweetI have had a bad back since I was 12, my current bed is Sterns & Foster and I love it. I've had it for 3 years and it still is just as comfy as day 1. Also comes with a 20 year warranty so if a spring pops out or something you get a new bed for $0. It was pricey at $2,300 but it was worth every penny. Its a king btw.
TweetI have a pillow top but im a side sleeper, comfy as hell and I can do some serious work on that thing
