TweetThat's sucks. . I've been there before. .twice with two different bikes. One my ex girlfriend knocked over and one time the damn Harley dealer knocked my bike over when i dropped it off to get tuned. Both times I was in other states for work too...fing sucks.

the superintendent of this complex is a late 40s fella. Very small guy, he works hard, we always had a good connection.

I realize that material things in life are secondary, and I was very strong on not being mean to him, or disrespectful----but believe me FUZO I made my point very clear that he had touched a bike/dropped her on top of it. That his insurance will pay every single penny in damage.

I am just really glad the damage is not to the engine....you know when you drop a bike hard, there would be irreversable damage, adn value would be so so low.

I am not sure how this would have pan out, had he dropped her hard core. Lawyers would have been involved at this level for sure.


I want her fixed and rectified quick

Tweetman i would be pissed too. do you have frame sliders good bar ends and spools on it? back in the early 90s i was downtown with some friends we parked our bikes. i have a 89 sportster with a custom "iroc blue" painjob. a drunk gal was walking down the street decided to step across and sit on my bike. she was wearing a skirt, it kept her from getting her leg over and her heel scraped across my back fender gouging it to the primer and she went over. luckily the bike didnt fall but i had a gash in the paint that is still there.

TweetI took her in today...the guy told me that they always put the bike on crates and do FULL inspections on dropped ones, that they will pick up anything that is UNUSUAL due to a drop, and price it out.

I took it to a friend who runs a very big bike dealership in town, him and I go back a good 5 years now...he took a look and did not think it was critical but did agree on how much of an idiot that guy was.

he probably guestimated 1000.00 to 1500.00 damage.

Jepped I don't have any of those installed on her, honeslty bro, I would never drop her, but after this insident idiots like him are making me think about adding those to her, just to be safe.
