Anyone got a Remington 870 barrel by chance?

TweetLike the title states, I am looking for a barrel for my 870. I want to turn mine into a tactical shotgun but I don't want to cut the barrel...it's a vent rib barrel. But I also want to be able to put it back to stock if I ever have the need. The barrel on it is 26" but I want something shorter....20-22 maybe. Just throwing this out there as these are pretty expensive new.

TweetDepending on where u reside gun shows or flea Markets are a easy pick up on used parts...Rem 870 parts,barrels are everywhere..I would bet more than 50% of every hunter has at one time owened 1 or several 870's...I have a Tactical 870 with a 18" and 20" deer barrel and some magpull accessories...^^^^^ and yes the extension tube is a must!
Prices have gone up a lil on AR's,Mags,Ammo is a lil challenge to find in bulk at the moment...

Tweetgoing with a shorter barrel is going to make that thing kick like a mule haha. love those shotguns but after transitioning over to the beneli m1014 or the civilian models m1 and m2 it's hard to look at other shotguns the same. only downside to the m1/m2 is the autocleaner blows carbon back onto you after 8 rounds or so. nothing dramatic but it will still let you know it's doing it's thing haha. ithica also makes some fine shotguns to look at.

cant touch anymore on the barrels cause you already got some great advice above

I was going to try the last gun show here in town, but the line was out of the building and down the road and I didn't want to fool with that. Tactical is what I am doing. Shorter barrel, AR style collapsible stock, extension tube, light, etc...

My thinking on the barrel is the shotgun will be tactical for self defense. I don't want to be trying to swing a 26" barrel around in my hallway and around corners.

TweetMy 1st shotgun was a Ithaca 37featherweight 20g with the xtra deerslayer barrel..I think the deer barrel is 18" long its a shorty...Yea the Shows are overwhelming...If u have a few bizcards or know a few sellers at the show they usually can help ya get in quickly...I usually call a few sellers before i arrive to let them know im interested in a few things...They always come out of the grounds give me a pass to walk in
