TweetAnchoring it to the floor is probably as safe a way as any and prevents it falling over just in case. We have a small safe in our closet that is bolted to the floor, its not going anywhere.
Tweeti know this probably wont get many if any views but if you do look and have an opinion let me know.sold my gun cabinet and got this for more security
i can bolt it with 3.5"X1/4" lags to two studs in the wall.

TweetI got mine lagged to the studs in the wall cause I have wood floors. I would consider anchors if I had concrete floor
TweetYou can put a small body in there

TweetYou got to fill it up
TweetLag bolts in the floor is the best route.
TweetAnchor it to the floor! Much stronger than the studs!
Tweetthe big probis my wife letting me cut the carpet so the safe will sit flush on the concrete. i think both would be best but ...........
Tweetthats what i said, my wife thinks different although i want a 9mm carbine like a sub2000 or a hi point 995. both have great reviews and are fun to shoot
TweetSuper glue it to the floor. Then use some duct tape for a little extra strength.

TweetAs big as it is I wouldn't be too worried about it. However, if you are worried then I would definitely anchor it to the floor.

TweetSo Jipped Genes- what'd you end up doing with that...did the wife ok the carpet cut, add any new arsenal?
TweetCheck and see if the bottom liner of the safe will pull up.Sometimes the bottom of the safe
has been predrilled to allow it to be bolted to the floor.
We use to sell Fort Knox safes, they were predrilled to allow it to be boted to the floor.
If you have decided where it will be placed, you can mark the holes and just cut out the circles
in the carpet to allow access to the floor. Just save the pieces so if ever you move it, you can
ut them back in place on the floor and cover the holes
Push it, Pull it, Rack it. Repeat untill wide!!
Take nothing I say as serious, What do I know, I sell water!!
