Tweetok...a tear ago next month i fipped my tricep tendon from the bone... it was a pretty long rehab but i've been back in the gym for about 7 weeks or so. welp....sunday, dont know what the fuk i was thinking, i decided to PICK UP THE FRONT OF MY NEPHEWS POTOON BOAT, TO PUSH IT OFF THE BEACH!!!! what. the fuk. was. i. thinking!!!! i felt a pop and it hurt like hell for 20 mins. it hurt the rest of the day/evening, but, unlike the tendon, it didnt really swell or bruise or turn red, so i figured its a sprain. this mornign i woke up and it was swollen more and i thought it looked a little red....2hrs later its red, black and blue and swollen up 1/2 a size over the right...the right was always a little bigger....jeez. i cant turn a door knob or pick anything up in a curling motion... just dosnt hurt to push...

TweetOh man, that blows. Shit I hope its just a strain and will be healed up quick. Put some ice on that dirty bastard. Injuries suck. Youre young man, you will bounce back fast. Take good supplements too. Lots of fruits and vegs help ya heal up.
TweetI know u prob know, but think about getting some DMSO..Ive used it for tendons to aching joints. It will help reduce the swelling and pain. 3 time ed.

Tweetwell...i didnt do the doctor. (figured i'd get that out of the way!! lol) i been hitting it with ice and most the purple is gone, still red. swelling has went down a little, but i believe its just a strain. dosnt hurt as bad to turn my hand or hold my own hand up, but still cant turn doorknobs and what not....i think its just a severe sprain. feels tight! also, wrist hurts... the forearm was so painful that i didnt notice the wrist pain, but i feel it now. i'll see whats what after the 5th. i am good at protesting shyt like this and i'm not stretching it out or carrying anything....we'll see how it goes from here

TweetI have to agree with not going to the doctor. They are usually pretty clueless on musculoskeletal injuries like these anyway, other than to prescribe the latest celebrex knockoff, which does more harm than good. I say to hell with doctors and fix stuff yourself. LOL
Anyway, sounds like its healing up. Swelling coming down is good. Soon as youre able, start moving it back and forth and gently let it stretch real slow so those fibers heal in a straight line rather than gunked up fibrotic scar tissue. Id be drinking 8-16 OZ of Pure Pomegranate juice, or just sip it all day long. That stuff blows out inflammation like crazy.
When I had that badly inflamed injection site a couple months ago, I pounded Pomegranate all day, and I was popping Proteolytic Enzyme tablets like they were Skittles. I finished off a whole bottle in 2 days. Stuff like wobenzyme is a good one. I would like to know if any of our suppliers sell proteolytic enzymes. If you get an injury, they are good to have on hand. I believe on healing from the inside out by giving the body the building materials it needs to do the repair work.

Tweetpain is pretty minimum....turning/pulling motion (door knobs) and certain ways of lifting that mimicks hammers curl motion....other than that not too bad. been going light at gym, only pushing movements so all good there....i still feel an internal pain, but i think it was just heavy trama...idk. i did call my sports doc (the guy that did my tendon reattatchment....he thaught it sounded like a serious sprain/trama and suggested go light and see in 10 days....it'll be fine in another week i hope. thanks for advice folks)
