I started my 1st day of ckd keto today my concern is if I have enough fat. My goal if everything was perfect is ab 2080 cals, ab 140g pro, 170g fat, and 0g of carbs. With my diet plan I'm getting 2088 cals, ab 175 pro, ab 140g fat, ab 20g carbs. Is my fat level being 30g of target gonna keep me from ketosis? If so what foods can I add that are high in fat with no carbs or protien?

I don't know a thing about this diet but if you added peanut butter, or any nut butter, it would be mostly fat. Remember to get the natural kinds that have no sugar, hence, no carbs.

This diet seems like it would be hard to maintain. I am not one who thinks you should go zero carb. Our body needs carbs.

Olive oil. Add some to your shakes. You won't even taste it.

the keto diet is a very good diet but i think you have your info a little wrong. You want some carbs. depending on who you ar eyou can go keto and still take in 50-100 carbs a day if they are timed right. I did this diet a few years back with amazing results. I would have 40 carbs first thing am and about 30 pwo. worked great.

Maybe that's a different form of keto, however CKD is as close to 0 as possible absolute max of 30.

I do EFA's including the fish EPA/DHA, Flax and Borage, So im gettin the Omega 3-6-9. I take in alot of fish, and actually use sardines in my salads. I put alot of good stuff in my salads, so their like a meal in themselves.

Isn't that a bit much? I have always heard that 1.5-2lbs per week is all you should shoot for depending on your weight.

Do you have a re-feed day on this diet or do you cut carbs out all the time?

24 hr carb load, for my weight = 650 carbs. And 2# a weeks may be pushing it if ur concerned about keeping every once of muscle. However my current situation is out of the gym for 1yr+ and ate like shit. Lost pretty much everything and got fat. My weight prior to this diet was 178 @ around 20% bf (5'9"). I'm basically just starting over from scratch. Wanna cut down to a lean 155 and slowly start adding muscle back to my goal weight of 205#, (my prior weight b4 layoff). I dieted regualr before I started keto but it was too slow. Down to 164# right now.
