i read the pritkin diet book in 1980 and have pretty much followed it my whole life, basically minimum processed foods, no salt or sugar ever, i will say only eating when hungry i tend to push myself to famished stage and then overeat crappy foods so prepping does work better for me and six meals while a pain in the ass to follow i will say i do feel my best
another thing, dont neccacarily buy calorie numbers for xyz
