If it doesn't bother you I wouldn't worry about. I'll start getting headaches and sh1t if I ingest too much aspartame.

I used aspartame for YEARS (lots of it) and started getting slight dizzy spells along with a cloudy head. Started reading about what could be causing it and found lots of folks who claimed the same things happening to them and the common denominator was the aspartame.

Stopped it and switched to splenda. Has worked for me so far. Splenda is just expensive as hell though.

I do know that some people get headaches from aspartane, but I am getting real tired of hearing all the negativity about something I consider essential to my diet....and I HAVE done the research.

If you had ever lived in the heart of sugar country, among the hundreds and hundreds of acres of sugar cane fields for as long as I have, and over the years seen what the sugar substitutes are doing to the industry, you might consider tempering your opinion of aspertane, sucrose and others with some skepticism as to who is behind the derogatory comments.

so - aspartane is bad for you? gonna kill me is it? well, all I have to say is take a number and get in line. got a lot more things to worry about than an artificial sweetner the sugar industry hates.

I am so tired of hearing about the horrors of substitute sweetners.

use splenda if you can, or buy the protiens that do not have aspartame.

Splenda is a better choice. There is NOTHING wrong with aspartame. Just don't use it in baking as it breaks down under high heat. Now there is splenda and its a great product.
