TweetI only take shakes post breakfast/pre-lunch and pre-workout. Post workout I like to eat my protein!
TweetI use Muscle Milk prior to working out. Post workout is Nature's Best Whey Isolate along with dextrose/maltodextrin. Between meals, I like to consume either MetRx Protein Plus or MetRx MRPs. Prior to bed, I have another Muscle Milk shake along with some fat free cottage cheese.

TweetI only use one kind. Right now im using a 60/40 mix of iso chill whey and soy isolate. I drink one in the am with a good breakfast, and get my carbs that way, and i take another on in the evening. I also do creatine 5-10gms and mix it wil MetRx AMPED pre-workout.
TweetI use two kinds, one made of whey so it's quick absorbing and the other Micelar Caisein (sp), because ti digests very slowly. Micelar is not the same as calcium caisenate. Micelar is the best for bedtime protein because it absorbs over like 6-8 hours. Therefore, you don't wake up protein depleted.
I drink a sahke first thing when i wake up to get protein in my sytem quickly. Then, depending on my day, I will drink one more before the gym and one right after. Again, post workout you want the fastes absrobign glucose and protein to feed your muscles. Then, I might have one more shake during the day and my bedt6ime shake at about 11 PM. I drink 3-4 shakes a day and eat 3 whole food meals. That way I get more than enough protein.

TweetI use both SynthePure and & SyntheBlend from Synthetek Industries. I really like the SynthePure best because it has not taste. Once in awhile when im out and in a hurry ill take some Isopure but nothing compares to the Synthetek no flavour and no taste. I add some all natty PB or sometimes make pudding with it. Some people say they use Nutella but unfortunately I dont have access to that here where I am or I'd give it a whirl word on the streets is its great stuff! You can also add non fat low carb or no carb pudding mix in some SynthePure or even IsoPure & wala.. snack time!
