TweetI think its the sugar, not the creatine, that does that. The brand I use has 33g of sugar for every 5.25g of creatine.
TweetSince I've been taking creatine, I have experienced quite a bit of acne on my back and shoulders. Is this normal?

TweetTheres no physiological way creatine can cause acne.
TweetI haven't juiced in 4 months. I don't know what else could be causing it. The acne is quite large and sore as HELL!!!! It's very embarrassing when these thing "pop" while I'm working out, especially when I'm wearing a white shirt. An suggestions on how I can get rid of this problem?Originally posted by YellowJacket

I havent taken creatine in a while bro but when I took EAS Phosphogen a while ago, I broke out from my face. When I discontinued taking it , it stopped. I also tried the Wieder creatine with no problem.
TweetI had a problem with the phosphagen hp and the cell-tech, they both have that added sugar and junk. Maybe if you go for one that isnt mixed into some high glucose delivery system BS, you wont have any problems...
TweetHere's another creatine and acne thread you can take a look at:

TweetCreatine causes me to break out with cold sores when I first start it. So to combet that I take 1000mg of l-lysine along with each dose of creatine and I'm fine.
TweetI with out a question,I get big blind zits from creatine. About a year ago i was taking creatine and was gettin these zits consistently. then i had perfect skin for a year. Then, recently in the 1st week i started taking it i got the same excact type of big blind unpopable zits on my cheeks. Also, the creatine i take is just plain creatine with no sugar. I wonder why it causes this?
TweetIt's very possible that creatine may cause acne for some people. It's something like an allergic reaction. I'd try B-5 at 8-10g a day until it clears and then 3-4g a day as maintenance.
TweetIn his own little way I think he is suggesting that you try to shower twice a day. It may help.Originally posted by YellowJacket

(I was being a smartass )
TweetI have since quit using Cell Tech, which I think was causing the acne due to its' high sugar content. My acne has cleared up completely and I have since then switched to a sugar free creatine.
By the way, I take at least 3 showers a day!!!!
TweetJust thought I'd bump this. I've been on Test for almost 6 weeks and not one pimple, started taking creatine again 3 days ago and I've got about 3 or 4 that've popped up on my chest and arms. Dont know what causes this but it definately has something to do with the creatine.
