Tweettunafish is quick
TweetPlease dont bash, im new... been reading.. and have been lifting for a while... was wondering what you guys recommend for someone who spends 7 hours in school a day, and has mad BS after, for quick easy meals and what not.. I did the "make your own protein bars" and have been munching those down like nuts, but else do you recommend for quick food? like non combination.. say.. a steak... not.. rice with this and that. Any help is appreciated.

TweetStuff I carry on campus:
tuna in a bag (rarely)
protein shakes
granola bars
trail mix
protein bars
If I were on campus for 7 hours, I would carry a small cooler to keep "real" food in.
TweetI hate tuna
can get ahold of all the other stuff though, trail mix is good for protein and what not?

Tweetprotein shakes
chicken (cooked and cubed)
minute steak (cooked)
bowl of salad
12 boiled eggs (you can toss the yolks in the garbage)
2 lunch bags of cut veggies (broccolli, celery, cauliflauer etc)
4 ryevita crackers
that lasts me about 8 hours at work not including 4litres of H2O
Tweettry tuna with tabasco sause...30grams protein .50 takes 2 mins to make a sandwich out of a can.
TweetI have the trail mix with the protein shake. Beef jerky is a good choice as well.Originally Posted by bobmarley
TweetI think there is alot of fat and cholesterol in beef jerky if im not mistaken. Keep the trail mix, get some of the chicken in the pouches that Star Kist has or cubed, it doesn't stink like the tuna. I know some don't like but i get tons of the balance bar (cookie dough or carmel nut) as they don't have the trans-fats, I also get the BioProten bars chocolate peanut butter and eat when im in a bind. Get some bulk roasted almonds too and maybe some wheat crackers.
TweetTuna w/lemon juice is good. Beef jerkey is too chewey. Makes your jaws hurt after awhile.
TweetMaybe im thinking of the sausage link ones?, lol. Got to look next time i go to grocery store.Originally Posted by GirlPatriot
