TweetJust use flax seed oil. Take 1-2 servings ed.-crombie09
TweetI was recently made aware that I do not consume enough EFAs. I have done some research and searching and found that there are two types{?} Omega-3 and Omega-6. These come from natural peanut butter, salmon, soybean oil, walnuts, etc. It was suggested to consume at least 28 grams per day of EFAs. Would it be just as well to purchase a suppliment in order to make sure I get this amount? And, is ther one that has both Omega-3 and Omega-6? How can one tell from the label of a can of salmon how many EFAs are there?
Thanks,
Farrar

Tweethey farrar.... i'm a writer/nutrition grad student and did a piece on flax a while back. if you're interested, go to:

click on VM archives and then scroll down until you get to an article titled 'Flaxing Your Muscles.' it might give you the info you're looking for (although it might be a bit much!) about what omega3/6's are, what they do, sources, benefits, etc.
