Put it this way I tried two very known high end brands of berbine heavy products and I was sick as a dog shitting baby yellow for hours on end.

I’m 5 days into metformin and I had some mild discomfort 7hrs after day one dosing, day2 12hrs after, and 3rd day almost nothing day 4 and 5 nothing so far gtg on day 6.

I think berbine is people trying to capitalize on the anti aging crowds use of met.

i wont knock met at all but keep this in mind. my doc put me on it because of my gh use and it making me super insulin resistant. even with tons of cardio and prepping it still made my glucose run higher than we liked. a1c wasnt bad but we were trying like hell to make everything optimal. now we started doing some digging on it and i started having some bad cramping issues and not being able to get a pump. even with cialis and other compounds, the pump just wasnt there. so he did some research and i did mine as well and i also talked to a couple top level coaches i know. come to find out the reason why met is so effective at anti aging is because it shuts down igf production almost 100%. that in itself is not good for bodybuilding at all. so i asked them options and it was berberrine and or adding in either a long acting slin or log with meals. so i tested out vitamin shoppe brand berberrine and it worked great and i had zero issues. brought my glucose into range and everything bounced back nicely. the key with berb is what part of the plant it is made from. i am pretty sure off the top of my head you want the root part which is what the vit shoppe brand has in it. it is superior and doesnt cause the issues that the other lesser quality ones do. worth a shot or consideration for you to look into
