Some folk can get away with it. Aspartame is the real bad one. But all artificial sweeteners can cause probs for some folk.

I have been on GH for the last 7 months. My blood sugar would get high in the morning even before I eat anything on just 3iu. I checked my blood sugar and it was always 10-20 points higher after consuming diet soda even if it is a stevia soda it was elevated(Called Zevia soda which are pretty good and less bad for you as the others.)

I would just try giving up fake sugar for 2 weeks and see how you feel. If better you may be one of those folk that are effected and it is better just top drink water, water with lemon or tea and tea with lemon. (Also lime) Those are my go to drinks. Tea is healthy with no chemicals or such like soda or fake sweet drinks.

sofargone, i think that stuff is better than aspartame, splenda, and sweet n low.

Good conversation fellas.
if you are using gh then that in itself will cause blood sugar issues with no other outside reasons. that's why those of us that use it year round combine it will slin with our higher carb meals. hell even when i didnt use gh in the past and eat competely clean high carbs that where all low gi, i still saw some fasted glucose issues. that is even before i started using the drink mixes way back in my younger years i have tracked and kept records of my stuff for 20 years plus i still say most things are individual but the gh will fuck your glucose up with a quickness.

as for the sweetners steeva makes me piss out my ass like nobodies business so that one is a no go for me. i also believe that to much of damn near anything will mess up those of us that have shit genetics. i love my splenda though and have never had any issues with it
