Bro, I would say drink only water or green tea and eat super clean. No sugar, no trans or processed fats or foods. Lots of greens, organic berries like blueberries and or raspberries. Lean meat and fish. Foods with a lot of fiber and nutrients like sweet potatoes (Also take metamucil, acts like a broom for your digestive tract) Your body detoxes itself.

cruciferous veggies like cabbage, brussels sprouts, broc, kale ect.

Avocados have lots of great stuff, nutrient dense and with a bunch of healthy fat and fiber

green tea with ginger A 2007 study published in the journal Cancer Epidemiology, Biomarkers & Prevention found that a green tea concentrate boosted production of detoxification enzymes, which play a key role in cancer prevention.
A 2013 research review published in the International Journal of Preventive Medicine found that ginger protects against oxidative stress, has anti-inflammatory and anti-cancer effects, and offers a wealth of antioxidants.

Lemon water yeah you get some vitamin c and such from the lemon but mostly it encourages you to drink more water. At least for me it does

colorful veggies Spinach (On of the few organic products I buy) carrots, beets (they are really good for you but taste terrible I buy beet powder)

Lastly I take NAC and a curcumin supp. Both really help the body get rid of trash. I do not take but should tudca, which is really great for the liver.

You can do all those flushes and such but if you do just 2 weeks of eating super clean and get a varied veggie diet with lots of water and green tea w/ ginger I pet you loose 2-3 lbs of fat and feel better than you have in ages.

Lots of the "flushes" are people looking for an easy route. but in BB we know you got to put in work. Same with your body's garbage system. I have seen people drink a bunch of olive oil and lemon juice for your gallbladder then they crap out green balls and say look it worked. It is just clabbered olive oil. Gallstones are tiny.

Try it bro, I promise you will feel way better for it.

Bro, I had all sorts of probs, leaky gut syndrome, heartburn every day, lethargy, muscle and joint aches and pains.

Since I started eating super clean I have lost 2-3% in BF almost 2 inches in my waist. I went from 34 jeans to 32, same as I worse in highschool. All of my probs have pretty much gone away.

It boils down to inflammation in the body. By reducing inflammation you also decrease toxins by allowing your body to work properly and get rid of that crap.

On the weekends I eat what I want. I do it in moderation and have a few brews. But back on the week, eat clean. Works for me.

Great posts! I've been doing the same thing jipped has. I majorly cleaned up my diet and really started focusing on reducing inflammation in my body. I've seen so many improvements. It's astonishing how much these healthy changes will improve your body and overall health. I think one of the biggest kickers for me was sugar. There's sugar packed into absolutely everything.

I have a couple cheat meals on the weekend and that's about it. It took a little while to get myself dialed in. My body craved a lot of the crap I always consumed for so long, but I got to a point now where sometimes my couple cheat meals I have on the weekend bloat me up and make me feel like complete crap. You realize just how bad so much stuff is when you quit eating it.

I have found high quality protein sources at lower intake rates more often help.

A big thing that exacerbated Leaky gut syndrome is eating too much. Small meals with plenty of fiber (Apple, avocado, raspberries ect) also help

I should mention apples have pectin and ursolic acid that is real good for ya and detoxifiers.

My daily thing is 4 heaping teaspoons soluble fiber in water daily after I take my vitamins, I have cut bread out of my diet. I plan on doing a 24 hour fast each week too.

Awesome dirt! Intermittent fasting leads to far less cancer chance and overall health.

I read an article about the middle east having the lowest cancer rates per capita. They theorize one of the reasons is Ramadan. They fast from sunup to sundown for a month. This one month a year seems to contribute significantly to less cancer in the populous. Also very very low alcohol consumption and consume a lot of tumeric which may also reduce cancers. Oddly they have one of the highest sugar consumption rates in the world, diabetes and obesity are also high. If they dropped the sugar they may well be the healthiest people on the planet.

      Man I went off didn't I, sorry.

Fasting reduces glucose levels in the blood, making it harder for cancer cells to grow. These cells feed on glucose, consuming it at a much higher level than normal cells do. During fasting, one way cells try to conserve energy is by making it easier for cell membranes to metabolize insulin. This improves insulin’s ability to remove glucose from the blood. Reducing the glucose available to cancer cells hinders cancerous growth.

Anyway, I try to do one day a week where I eat at 2pm and then 5pm but only water the rest of the time. (Not doing very good right now) Studies show this gives many of the benefits of a full on fast without the major hunger pain.

Skelator, give it a try, either the intermittent fasting or the detox diet or both. You will be amazed how good you feel.

Dirt I like everything but the kool aid. I do not like artificial sweeteners. Try this. Squeeze 1 lemon in your jug and add stevia to sweeten it to kinda make lemonade.

i just started this week blending 1/3 of a whole lemon with chia seeds and organic spinach. Lots of fiber and the skin of lemons has a bunch of really good stuff the juice does not. i chug this with breakfast as I eat breakfast at 6 am and lunch at 1pm. It helps me stay full.
