I have been taking it but just ran out. Supposed to be a universal anti oxidant. Dr. Rhonda Patrick recommends it.

so i guess the question is is it so super that it would stop muscle inflammation and prevent gains? that would be my biggest concern because we need some inflammation and nasty stuff rolling around after training

And also a good question about what are the consequences of taking this substance. How safe is it for the liver, heart, nervous system? I really don't want to ruin my body in pursuit of some achievements.

Guns here is my take on it.

So we know, muscles have to be stimulated and broken down to grow. Some anti oxidants reduce inflammation and reduce muscle growth slightly.

This may do that BUT... it can allow you to train harder, longer and more often while having less oxidants in your body. So your gains at worse would be about even either way. You might as well take it for your overall health feeling better and having less inflammation in your body.

It may be working. It is probably reducing inflammatory bio markers and protecting your arteries and heart. Just because it is not effecting perceived inflammation does not mean you are not benefiting from it brother.

If you are looking to reduce felt inflammation you have to make a lot of other changes. I have found smaller meals, variety of veggies, cutting out processed food, no alcohol and here is one we do not think about...gear has BA, BB, and who knows what else when it comes from UG labs. Watch this vid, it is disturbing. Keep taking the ASTAXANTHIN for your long term health regardless if you feel it imo. (tried to spell it but had to copy and paste HAHA)
