      For us bread heads, which bread do you eat and why? I'm assuming a lot of us eat Ezekiel bread. I love bread and try not to eat a lot of it, but I do like some toast with my breakfast in the morning.

      When I shop bread is never on my list never keep it in the house. No reason other then I don't need it during the week. However if I crave a sub it has to be white bread only.

      I just bought some ezekiel bread. Why is that so popular and considered the best kind of bread to eat? Its sprouted. What the hell does that mean?

      i use ez bread and thomas english muffins right now. i also like to have the flat out breads as well. the flat outs are low gi carbs and really low in cals and carbs. they also make a mean patty melt for sure

      The grains have been allowed to start to sprout. The plant wants to grow and then it is milled. So instead of a hard dry seed it has a little green plant trying to grow.

      It changes the glycemic index of the bread and reduces it by a very large margin. I like heavy grainy 100% whole wheat or whole grain breads a lot. Ezekiel bread is good too but it need to be kept frozen or at the least refrigerated as it goes bad a lot faster.

      It is very dense and filling. If you want light fluffy bread this ain't for you.

      it's tough as hell too. the 9 grain one isnt as bad as the regular but it is still pretty tough haha

      I've been going with ezekiel bread lately, but every once in a while my wife will bring home some whole wheat bread. It's hard to resist, as I love some whole wheat toast in the morning.
