Keto has always interested me. I have tried a lower carb eating but never real keto. Who here has eaten this for a long duration? Any feedback is appreciated.

      thanks

Longest i did keto was almost 6 months. It is hard for me as beer is one of my hobbies and I love it. I do think Keto with intermittent breaks every month or so is doable long term. I made coconut four pancakes and almond flour biscuits which helped with carb craving.(which after not having the real things for a while were good but not the same)

I was the leanest I have ever been in my adult life. Also my body felt really good. I have read that keto reduces many kinds of inflamation. The other thing is you will stop having ups and downs after eating. you know when you eat a carb laden meal and you get tired and foggy headed after? that ends. I stopped getting tired mid day at work. Also I stopped snacking as much. It is hard to get enough protein as the ratio is 70% fat 25% protein and 5% carbs (from veggies and such)

if you try it and you like ranch dressing this was my go to snack. oilive oil ranch dressing and veggies or pork rinds.......IT IS GOOD!!!!!!!!!! also lots of healthy fat to add up for your 70%

You may say "Jipped, you love keto so much and had great success with it, why are you not on it now"

Well, I was and normally I start right after Xmas and go for a few months until between April to June. We went on a trip in late February and I went off and never got back on. I am carrying 6-7 extra lbs of fat right now because of it and the fact I am damn near 50. Single digit BF is harder every year. Anyway, I am no expert but have read everything and listed to all podcasts I could find with my keto guru, Dom D’Agostino and will give you what info I have if you want it.

Baby, keto is a rabbit hole, you can go down it a long way and most people try it and say "It does not work" But they were consuming 60% protein 30% fat and 10% carbs. They will say "I was doing it right man!" but they were not...............
"SHIAT BIOTCH, thats a big ass!"
