i knew a couple where i used to live. they went vegetarian after seeing a video on what they do to animals. i saw the same video and not to be insensitive to anyone but it did not turn me off of meat, just more aware of better choices to make when buying meat.

Plant based diet will save your life. Plus, you will have way less inflammation. Less arachodonic acid

I think if someone is going to commit to the veg diet it has got to become a lifestyle as well. Constant research and planning meals in order to get what the body requires to function correctly. If not the veg diet will take more than it gives. my .02

Humans need fatty acids. A plant based diet is deficient in many aminos and vitamins. WAY better than a vegan diet for sure. I say a vegetarian can be healthy with with their diet but it takes a lot of work like dethklok said. My sis and her family are vegetarians and are always sick and have probs. Sis is anemic and has immuno deficiency probs and rheumatoid arthritis since she became a vegetarian but still believes it is better for her even though the doc says her body does not do well on that diet.

If consuming meat takes a year or two off my life I bet I could offset that by years in my favor by cutting out the real demon...........SUGAR

great points man. only downside is, i will never give up my sugar completely. i go sugar free for the majority of the week and year as well but i wont hang it up completely. probably going to be what gives me a heart attack but it is so damn good
