TweetHi guys, just postingt his thread to get advice on supps.
What do you guys usually take? I've been training for quite a while now but never used supps. Thinking of buying some - actually there's a couple that I've been looking at online but I thought I'd ask you guys first.
Thanks in advance

Tweeti have been in the game for over 20 years now and i have probably tired and used damn near anything under the sun. their are only 2 supps other than vits minerals and protection stuff that i use on a constant basis. they are a good quality whey iso/casine hydro and an intra supp. that's it and pretty much all i need. if you want an in depth and not going to rip you off guidance shoot tgbsupplements an email and or joe at suppz. they are both stand up dudes and will not take your money just to take your money

Tweetcreatine works great. protein and a multi to help with holes in your dietary intake.
TweetWelcome to the board! I myself just take a multivitamin, protein (of course) and zma before bed
TweetThe mainstays in my cabinet are always a good multivitamin, good quality whey protein and my creatine. I add other stuff in here and there depending on what I'm doing, but I always have those 3.
TweetCan i ask how old you are?
And what are your goals?
What are you trying to achieve or need help with? Thanks.

TweetThanks all for the warm welcome.
For mys tats,
I'm male and 26 years of age.
Been on and off on the gym, but I stay active through sports. I play soccer and ultimate frisbee, so the physique has always been kind of lean.
I'm thinking of bulking a bit, put on some mass. Never really took supps, except the daily multivit. Idk if I should start taking whey, but I do try to get my protein from the diet as much as possible.
TweetHeard really good things about creatine so I'm most likely considering that. Thanks!
Thanks! What is zma?
Awesome, I do keep a multi vit. Like I mentioned earlier, heard that creatine can help me achieve my goal to put on a bit of mass. I'm most likely getting one.
Have been looking at a few - maybe I'll let you guys have a look and hear what yall think? I just couldn't trust the reviews online .. lol
Intra supp? Bcaas? And thanks man! Will try to shoot them an email
Tweeti just saw the best explanation ever of intra workout supplementation by the guy that got me going on them. for your first year or two of training it should be straight up water with maybe a little touch of electrolytes added in if you need them. this would be considered your beginning phase and you will make progress and recovery for the most part pretty easy. next up would be the intermediate phase. you will add in one of the smaller bottles of gatoraide with some eaas mixed in. that should help add a little boost of carbs and sugar during your session along with some ready available protein to get into the muscle and keep you from going catabolic during your training. the advanced/break you ass off phase is third. this is when you have been training for a few years and train frequently and with a lot more higher end intensity. this is when you start to tie in highly branched chain cyclic dextrin eaas electrolytes and pump factors. the two products i mentioned above are loaded with them all. this will allow for better and faster recovery as well as allowing you to train more frequently. all good stuff to try out and mix into your training
