TweetI've been seeing a lot about fasting lately. I honestly don't think it's something I could do, but seems to be getting popular recently.
TweetA couple of my friends did this before. They would "fast " from 8pm till 12 the next day. Then eat 3 meals between 12/8. I did this for a couple days...all I can say is it's not for me at all.
I was so hungry I didn't know what to do. My second day was terrible. I was dizzy, felt awful, weak. Third day I made it to about 9 am. My store manager asked if anyone wanted anything from McDonald's. I said "omg, yesssss". Lol
If this works for you you're way better than me. I couldn't. I just couldn't

Tweetnot for me either. i just dont see how you can go for extended periods of time without any food on purpose. i have even seen where people eat in an even smaller window and they eat whatever they want in as large of an amount but like i said it is a very very small window daily. another example of someone trying to find a quick fix or make the process easier

Tweetintermittent fasting is great for the body but I just hate feeling terrible. i get all "hangry" and hypoglycemic.
now if I am keto I can do it easily. I do not get hungry but one must be in deep keto.
talk about fat loss. but when carb adapted hell no
Tweetbasically without getting into any of the mechanics of the actual process that you are doing is tricking your body. you are making your body believe that it is in starvation mode and then in an a surplus mode causing changes in itself. their are far better and much more painless approaches out there for sure. but in all honesty they all suck until you find one that your body doesnt hate

TweetI've had some luck holding back my 1st meal an hour or two..
Like take my acv/lemon juice at 530am then 1st meal at 7/730...slamming down food right when I get up makes my stomach feel a little more bloated and turns the switch on for food cravings first thing.
I've been feeling great for the 1st 2 hours then start my meals with no ill effects later in the day.
This is definitely a far cry from not eating til 12...I'd be looking to kill someone by 10.

Tweetthat acv and lemon is balancing out your insulin sensitivity and liver big time man. stuff works like magic. once you have done it for a bit you can add another tbl spoon around noon or 1 and another before bed. good stuff across the board

TweetNice, man..I will add another tbsp soon..after only a few weeks I swear I look leaner already...my 1st meal is always MCT (CO) and protein..keeping that insulin low as long as possible has been doing the trick.
Thanks
