TweetSince you are aware that you are a comfort eater, I would say to distract yourself some other way when this happens. Or munch on celery, carrots etc
TweetHow the hell do u guys keep from snacking.
I've tried getting help with nutrition multiple times but I just don't seem to have the willpower to keep it up.
I have a horrible time not snacking. No matter what I always seem hungry and want food. I get cravings just snacking.
I'm a conforr eater. I eat when I'm bored or stressed or depressed or anything really lol. It's not terrible for getting big but I haven't had abs in like shit 6-7 years.
I feel like a need an apatite suppressor. Haven't found much that works.
What do u guys do to curve snacking or cravings.
I never meant to be better than anyone, I was just born that way. Its hard being a god amongst peasants!

TweetI have tried celery, not carrots though, at least not without ranch lol.
Honestly if I could afford to eat seafood 247 I'd be ripped. Chicken gets old so quickly.
TweetI LOVE chicken , that's something I prob do not get tired of !!! But man I'll tell you what , I have snacks readily available because I stay hungry , most times !!! My abs aren't super defined but I still have them and they are visible , but I would work the shit out your abs if your prone to snacking !!
TweetYeah that's something I have to work on. I love snacking and abs are my least favorite muscle group to exercise lol.
I love chicken to but I guess I'm just not a good cook because dry plain chicken 247 sucks after about a week.
Tweetyou may be having some sugar control issues. if it were me i would be hammering diet soda and zero cal carbonated waters instead of eating. that's what i do when deep in a diet. i also have zero cal popsicles jello and other super low cal no impact snacks.
for starters i would add in 1 tbl spoon of organic apple cider vinegar and also cinnamon on anything and everything you can tolerate. those two things alone should help a little bit at least if you are getting hunger signal because of sugar

TweetI definitely think its at least partly sugar related. I will start to feel very down and low energy and very moody and as soon as i eat i will instantly feel better.
Right now I don't follow any sort of diet but i would say i still eat rarely healthy. I almost never eat fast food, i eat a lot of meats and rice, the unhealthiest thing i really eat is large amounts of pasta with no source of protein lol. Sometimes i do eat shit though. Yesterday i had queso cheese dip which i can feel myself getting fatter when i eat it lol. I also love pizza so i eat that more then i need to I never drink soda unless it has alcohol in it but i drink a lot of booz.
I think soda and alcohol is a big issue. I drink a lot of spiced rum with which has lots of sugar and i drink mixed drinks which means i go through a lot of dark soda.
Ive got nothing to hide here and those of you who have been around here long enough know i seem to have ups and downs which I'm sure is getting old lmao. I have been battling depression and anxienty and alcoholism which has killed my diet and drive to work out. I went from being the biggest and in the best shape of my entire life last june at about 250lbs 36" waist and roughly 15%ish body fat to being the fattest I've ever been this june 245lbs 40" waist and about 24% body fat.
I am about to get out of the army which is probably good for me at this point. The plus side is I no longer have to focus on running anymore and can focus on just lifting and getting big and only doing cardio to burn fat and i no longer have to limit myself on the type or amount of gear i take but being out of the army and putting my wife through the last couple months of her schooling i will be limited on funding for purchasing of food. So i see like maybe 3 bigger meals a day with like a couple shakes to get the protein i need.

TweetSounds like a good portion of the problem is sugar related. Like guns said, you can get some zero cal/no cal things to snack on that won't have a huge impact. Also, maybe play with the timing of your meals. I used to be a huge snacker, but I've changed my meal plans up to where I'm eating so often, that I'm never really hungry enough to where I'm tempted to snack. And if I am, I opt for something similar to what guns mentioned. I don't eat perfect at all, but just a few things that I try to keep myself from randomly finding myself hungry and snacking.
