TweetI don't believe bcaa can do anything but maybe keeping your body in an anabolic performance level might have some fat shedding possibilities. That being said my initial answer is no.

TweetSo the past several weeks my diet has NOT been on point at all. The crazy thing is I am not blowing up like I normally do. For me if I can easily start adding inches to my waistline by falling off good clean eating.
The only things that have really changed is that I have been taking BCAA during my workouts and before bed. AS WELL as L-tyrosine at breakfast.
Nothing else has changed. Training is about the same if not worse due to personal issues and some injuries.
Really can't figure it out??? I am trying to clean up everything again and get back going with the hopes of being able to achieve 10% or less. Heck if I eat like this and maintain my bodyfat then I would hope by eating clean I can achieve an ideal bodyfat of 10% or less. We shall see.
Anyone else relate to this or have an idea of what is going on???

TweetI have no idea then what is going on???
TweetI remember when I first started using BCAA's I noticed that it would take much work and hella effort to get gains , I wasn't sure if it was the BCAA's or not . When I stopped using them I did notice that my gains started to creep up again . So from that point on I stopped using !!!
I recently began to use them again , but pre workout in conjunction with my pre workout powder and I have found that I'm able to fuel my body/workouts more !!! And my gains are creeping up again .
So it's up for grabs whether they make u lose or gain , for me anyways . It was prob just because I didn't understand their use much back then and how beneficial they are . But either way it could be different for each individual !!!
I'm only ever going to use them pre workout from now on !!!
Tweetif i were a beating man, i would say that you have been in a cal def long enough to slow down your metabolism and then you bumped it up a bit with nasty cals and confused your body into burning alittle more than what i t was. that's what i am thinking and it has zero to do with the bcaa addition

Tweetbeing anabolic helps prevent fat accumulation but not enough to see. who knows maybe you are retaining less water due to some factor you are not aware of? or maybe it does help
TweetI look at my BCAA's like a extra multi-vitamin I have to take except it is only for lifters, etc. I don't notice the difference until I stop taking it like a multi-vitamin.
TweetI like the Gat Muscle Martini for BCAAs
