Tweeti have seen this athletic place that does gene testing to access your performance and needs. i am pretty sure someone put it up in here somewhere. would i spend the money to have it done? hell no, i dont want anyone having access to my genes or my dna nowadays. i dont trust anyone or the gov handling these things at all

This is the part that concerns me the most. I will probably just go through the doc and get the things done I need. You are right, you just never know..

Tweetthe one that you see on tv all the time is owned and operated by one of the huge religious groups mormons or scientologists i cant remember which one. i watched a documentary where they are compiling all the dna tests that they do on people into this huge archive. the scary fact is no one knows why they want or are doing this

TweetMy thoughts exactly. There are so many interesting things they can do now days with gene testing, but I don't trust anyone with that information. My mom had breast cancer years ago and they did some tests to see if she carried the gene for it (thankfully she doesn't) so there are some very beneficial things that come from it. But, I just don't trust that info to stay private. I see commercials for some sites like ancestry.com that have their DNA test you can submit. Not me lol.
TweetI read an article saying now they have testing that can tell you the amounts of various types of muscle fibers which would give you a better idea of what rep range to train in. It would also basically tell you whether your naturally inclined to be more of a strength athelete versus and endurance athelete.

Tweeti have seen that athletically based testing as well. they do it down to how many macros you need all they way into supplementation. idk how much i buy into it because you have to go back in for further evaluation ever so often and that to me says that maybe they are not using the ability to its fullest because your genes and makeup really never changes

Tweetso.. my mother is big into the whole follow the gene thing shes traced her roots pretty far back into the old country . her father was pure Italian from south Italy and such .. mother was Irish so I thought the gene thing would be cool. I bought it for her it was like 200 bucks , she scrubbed her cheek and sent in the sample, after waiting a month or so she got a letter.. You are of europian decent. THATS IT.. I was like BULLSHIT.. 200 bucks I could of told here that..
now I cant remember which dna place I used so definitely do some homework if you choose a place.. the one I chose was booty. If I could find a legitimate one I would hook my mom up again .. I do think it would be kinda cool
