TweetSeems like a good deal. How many egg whites in the gallon?
TweetWhere does everyone buy their egg whites?
I bought a gallon of Muscle Egg's version and that cost 45 bucks. I love the convenience of drinking this stuff especially with the flavored stuff.
Is there anywhere to get it cheaper? Is there another brand you guys recommend?

Tweetthere are definitely other places to get them and probably even for less

Tweetdo the math on the ones from the grocery store: 1 qt container is about 4-6 bucks and two of those is a half gallon and that would be no more than 12-14 bucks with taxes and you just spent 45 bucks on flavored egg whites. my suggestion would be get normal egg whites and either put protein powder in them for flavor or get normal egg whites and add some type of flavoring yourself. that would save you at least 20 bucks or so and that's pretty significant

TweetYep, I agree with guns. Just get the normal egg whites at the grocery store and flavor them yourself. Much cheaper. Some of those flavored egg whites are friggin expensive.
TweetLMAO Alf, you through me off with that avatar guns..
Yea totally makes sense. Im sure google will have some good mixes to flavor regular whites!
TweetI use either Lana's Egg Whites or International Egg Whites, mix 1c whites with 1-2 scoops protein and those are my shakes. I get a pretty good deal on them so more cost effective for me.
Tweetwe all dont have that great of a hookup ma haha. egg whites internation are pretty well priced though. when you buy the generic store brand whites though it is usually a great cheap option. i like the egg substitute myself. they appear to have yolks in them but they dont haha. they have the same nutritional profile as just whites and they taste great. they make a mean protein pancake

TweetI was just wondering this the other day. The regular egg beaters and whites have the same exact macro profile. What's the difference? One is dyed yellow and sold as "whole egg" with fat removed?
If the whites are really whites other than a fat difference the egg white would have a different amino acid profile as the whole egg protein.

TweetHere we go.
4. Are Egg Beaters the same as egg whites?
Egg Beaters 100% Egg Whites are 100% all-natural egg whites—double pasteurized for safety and conveniently packaged in a carton.
Egg Beaters Original and our Seasoned varieties are not the same as egg whites, but egg whites are the main ingredient. We start with all-natural egg whites, but we add back in the vitamins and minerals found in the yolk of an egg. These options are great for people who desire the low calories, fat, and cholesterol of egg whites, but want a taste and experience more similar to eating shell eggs.

5. Why Do Egg Beaters Original have a yellow color?
Egg Beaters Original are naturally colored by beta-carotene, just one of several added vitamins and minerals that make Egg Beaters nutritionally comparable to whole eggs, but with less calories, fat, and cholesterol.

TweetI read somewhere you have to cook the egg whites or they are worthless I'm assuming this is not true as many ppl seem to be drinking them. I don't mind drinking it and would be a great addition to my breakfast because I don't EAT eggs nvr been a big fan and they usually tear up my tummy.
TweetWhen I was in college and worked at a grocery store I would drink liquid egg whites but those were hands down the nastiest farts in my life.. I would clear at least two rooms with a couple of those and then it lingered what seemed like days. I had to stop because it was embarrassing. I use em to cook with but I will never drink them again. LOL :P
