Tweetonly have one carb cheat day per week, and eat all you want. on the other days, go ahead and have a little more, maybe 100 to 150 gm. how much fat are you taking in?.....do your cardio in the AM on an empty stomach too...
TweetHere is my diet for the past three weeks:
Mon, Tues, Wed, Thurs: low-carb (under 50 g) 1.5 g. protein/per lb., low fat.
Fri, Sat, Sun: same protein amount, but i will generally consume more carbs. usually 200-300 g./day. mostly good carbs, i.e. veggies, bread, etc.. (few beers at night)
I work out five-six days/week, doing high-rep, single bodypart workouts. Five days/week i get up at 7 and do cardio for 40-50 minutes at medium-high intensity.
my main goal is fat loss. im to the point where i dont care about muscle loss, i just want to lose the fat. im 21, in college with limited funds, 6'0, 210 lbs. not sure, but probably about 15-20 % bf.
please help.

There is no substitute for experience......
Tweeti agree...give yourself one day to cheat.....I myself try to go as long as possible without cheating...but i know when i need too....you mentioned you eat low fat but the right fats eaten moderately during a cutting phase will help lean you out and IMO preserve a lil more muscle mass....try adding fats like flax and olive oils and natty peanut butter...they might help
Tweetboth these guys are right on.... personally i like to cheat once every 10 days or so... the cheat meal is actually pretty important and your body needs it
also as mentioned in the above thread, you need to make sure you get those good fats, flax is great

TweetI eat clean until i phscologically need to cheat, IMO there is no physical need for cheating, your body does not start bruning more fat, nor does it get shocked into anything, but its good for the ol noggin.
I eat at least 6 times a day to build my body
I pray at least 6 times a day to build my soul
Tweetno need for cheating, but cycling calories up once about every ten to fifteen days will definitely help your progress in a cutting diet.
