TweetOk now I know what I 'should" do but that doesn't mean I will do it, lol. I want to get off this seizure med I take because I feel like I do not need it anymore. I mentioned it to my doc, and of course he thinks I need it. The pharmacy changed the manufacturer they use and now this one doesn't like me, my tongue swells. Walgreens doesn't carry the other one either. So now this is even more of a reason to wean off. This is a seizure med for partial seizures I was getting. It also helps my migraines but that isn't why I am on it. Has anyone weaned off an anti seizure med? If so, did you end up back on it or experience effects when weaning? I am looking for your experience with weaning off, if you have ever taken an epileptic med.
