TweetHit craigslist you'd be surprised how many people sell fresh eggs and they put all store eggs to shame.. hell I'd have chickens if but it's so convenient to just pay the 3 bucks a dozen
TweetI have been buying these for awhile now, and just happened to run out. Had to grab some regular ones at the store and there is such a taste difference...blah. I was getting tired of eggs, in general, but once I started adding fresh spinach and eating more yolks they are much better. I am sticking with the organic ones now

TweetYep I get cage free about 2 miles down the rd 1.75 a dozen
TweetThey def are not cheap but I have always believed in buying good quality foods meats etc and even more so in this day and age. One thing my parents always made sure of is that we had "good" food and plenty of it. If I had the room I would be buying 1/2 cow like they used to

TweetMy parents live on a farm and have organic eggs and they sure do taste better. Pretty much everything at my their farm is organic or farm raised, to include the meat in the freezer which is from a Black Angus cow they slaughter and split with my uncle each time, pork from a hog they do the same, eggs from their chickens, and vegetables from their 3 gardens and greenhouse. Eating there is so much better than out west. I haven't had a good tomato ever since living in NV, but back home they are good from the store and even better from the garden.

TweetMy wife wanted hens. At 1st a fought the idea thinking wtf do we need that for!?!
It's nice to get fresh eggs anytime we want now!
We have 8 hens now. I setup their water to fill a 5 gallon bucket. Has hamster water bottle feeders on the bottom for foul. The water is now self filling. Just have to feed them twice a day.
Easier to care for then dogs really.
TweetThat is so great! I would love to live on a farm, grow all my own veggies and have hens and more animals

TweetYeah we don't live on a farm. My wife didn't wanna play by the rules so I told
Her at least make sure the neighbors don't mind! No roosters so it's not too loud! The queen make a damn ruckus having town meetings at 5 am. Wife gave her away!
TweetA friend of mine has a little farm and I'm able to get some organic cage free eggs from him. Definitely a huge taste difference in these vs. the eggs you buy at the store.
Tweetwe had a guy here who just bought eggs from sam's club and sold them as free range organic eggs. he got popped for fraud. Coyote got our chickens at my pop's in law's place and we have not replaced them. (also ate my son's goat) sherrif says we cannot shoot them either as the area is growing up.
TweetIt's only a crime if u get caught lol.
TweetI lost my connection for farm eggs, it's been a disaster but they def taste better than regular store eggs
