TweetCold yes, anything worse I rest.
Tweeti have a hard time taking any time off at all. from all my wounds and injuries if i dont get in and pump around some blood makes my body hurt so freaking bad i cant stand the pain. me personally, the only time i take time off from training is post comp and it is never actual time off it is more of light pump nothing compound movement wise. just get in get a pump and done while still doing some cardio

TweetI guess it depends on the severity of the cold...if its an all-out flu i won't because I had a bad experience doing it before. But sometimes I will train with a head cold because i sometimes feel better sweating a little bit
TweetWhen I got out of the hospital this last time , I felt like shit, no energy, zero drive , just plain awful !!
But then when conversations with a friend , he said " Get the fuck out of bed and go bit the gym , no matter if it's just a lite day of lifting , just go " . He was and is right !!! If ur not dieing , then get the fuck up and go do some reps !!! U have to sweat out the sickness to get better !!
I tell u what , ur gonna thank urself for being active some , it speeds up the recovery process !!!
TweetNo I try not to I've found for me I recover slower
TweetI have always thought it weakens your immune system training while sick. If I'm sick these days unless I'm really rolling along very strong in a big cycle I just rest. You only have one body, it will thank you for taking care of it.
Besides that unless you have a home gym, you have no business being in the gym with something contagious. Everyone else doesn't deserve to catch it.
Animal the manimal
TweetI always work through it. I believe getting my blood moving only helps.
The Best Thing About TRT Is The Cycle Never Ends.
TweetWho gets sick with all the supps we take??? We rarely get sick enough to keep us from training. Maybe twice in the last 5 years. I would never expose others to a real sickness but I live in Vegas where the "World of Germs" live on every surface and we are out there among them every day. Probably have many more immunities than most. When you are really sick, rest for a day or two but when you just feel sick, train it out.

Tweetyes. training requires recovery. so does illness. when one splits the body's "focus" on fighting a bacterial infection or a virus with repairing muscle from a workout it takes longer to recover from both. I agree with you 100%, chill and let the body fight the illness so i can get back to training sooner.
Tweetdepends on how sick I am....usually I like doing a light workout to get a nice sweat going, that clamey feeling sweat, not the dripping from the forehead sweat....I usually better afterwards....that night a nice Epsom salt bath and then to bed, usually feel super relaxed and better in the morning
