TweetThanks for sharing this gusto! they sounded delicious. Will you stop by tomorrow and make some please?
TweetI can't claim complete originality on this recipe; got the recipe for protein cakes from guns awhile back and they have become an nearly everyday occurrence in my diet plan. These are my own twist on them and they basically just include more goodies and macros. These make a great breakfast, dessert, or post workout meal. I haven't done an exact macro count on them but a regular protein cake with 5 eggs has about 750 cals it and these easily have over 1000 and are loaded with protein, good carbs/ fiber, and healthy fats. These will be a staple for my upcoming bulk season. Add a couple of those daily to your bulk diet and your looking at a tasty easy way to consume 2000 cals, 12 eggs and 2 1/2 cups of oatmeal. Keep in mind this is just how I made them. Your imagination is the limit. You can use natural peanut butter and/ or sugar free syrup instead to top it with or chopped up walnuts or pecans instead of granola. It's really up to you you just have to experiment and find out what tastes good and what doesn't. I tried adding a banana in with the mixture the other day but didn't like the flavor contrast. Cut up banana on top is good however.
6 whole eggs
1 1/4 cup quick oats (must use quick oats!!! Not whole or steel cut! They don't work for this!)
1/4 cup pecans, natural granola, or nuts of choice
1/4 cup dark chocolate covered raisins
1 scoop choc or vanilla whey protein
1 tbsp choc PB2
1 tbsp coconut oil (melted)
Splash of milk or almond milk
1/4 cup no sugar added Apple sauce
SF chocolate syrup
SF jelly
In 6x6x6 microwave safe Tupperware container (or large cereal/ small mixing bowl or similar) beat eggs thoroughly. Add quick oats and mix thoroughly until mixture is consistent. Add all other ingredients except SF choc syrup and SF jelly and mix thoroughly. Microwave for 4 min 30 seconds. Empty cake onto plate and if still slightly undercooked on bottom just microwave for an additional 15- 30 seconds. Top with 1 tbs SF jelly and 4 or tbs SF choc syrup or toppings of your choice.
Presentation is not the best but wow these are good!

TweetIm in on this gotta remeber this weekend to pick some of the Ingredients up. Thanks
TweetI am gonna make a big batch soon thanks gusto
TweetI make something similar
1 cup of quick oats
3 eggs
1 scoop of protien
2 tblspoons of Peanut Butter or Coconut oil.
TweetRemembered the protein powder this morning and it was good to go. I changed the milk/ almond milk content to 1/4 cup for added moisture and remember to melt the coconut oil prior to adding. These things are awesome in my opinion. I ate one this morning for breakfast and man is it a hearty tasty meal. The dark choc raisins in it are awesome.

TweetThink I may be doing 2 of these a day during bulk bro. One for breakfast and one post workout. They go down so easy and are delicious. Let me know when I can eat!!!! Lol
TweetOk. I did it however I missed putting the rasins in an substituted 4 whole eggs for 9oz of whites. It is not the most attractive meal as your pic shows and thought it would be sweeter for some reason.. glad it wasn't actually. Had a consistency of a bread pudding which was great. I have SF jelly and syrup but ate it with out.. it was good will experiment with this for sure. Worth the time it was a nice change up..
TweetHaha yeh i thought it would be cool to post a pic of the final product and then I did and I feared no one would want to try it. Pic doesn't do it justice at all hahahaha. I can't edit pics so unless baby Fuzo or guns wants to take it down it's stuck there. Trust me people... They're delicious when done right!!!
TweetCheck out this mass cake gusto! came out kinda dry in the middle but I kinda winged it on the ingredients.
Used 1 cup quick oats
10 grams dark chocolate cacao powder
2 whole eggs
4 egg whites
Almond milk
Coconut oil
Sprinkled finished product with stevia and drizzle with sf chocolate syrup..
Once I tweak this a bit it's going to be great!

TweetOh yeah, 1 scoop of protein powder too...
Tweet Awesome bro! your picture/presentation is much better than mine ha ha. I just started putting a quarter cup of no sugar added applesauce and mine and it definitely helps make it a bit more moist. I ate two today LOL
