Tweeti know we have a couple threads floating around here with some similar discussion but let's hear what everyone's absolute must have supplements are? how much you take? how long you take them? the whole 9 yards. let's get a good discussion going with the pros and cons and let's learn some stuff

"You don't know how strong you are until strong is your only option."
Tweetok first customer to do some comparisons with:
1- mulit that's kind of a give me but what do you think about utilizing individual vits because as we know some are fat sol and less is need and the water sol we burn through throughout the day. just an idea to discuss
2-fish oil. another hell yeah on that one. cardio health as well as fat burning and joint support. all around cant beat it. what mg and how often daily do you take it?
3- co q 10. another great supporter of the cardio system. most dont realize in the game we play we leach a lot of this stuff out which puts us at risk of heart disease. another good choice
4- protein. that one speaks for itself. what is your go to type and brand? and why do you choose that type? how much are you utilizing in a shake?

TweetPre workout- no xplode is my absolute favorite
Intra md. You have made me a believer brother and it is absolutely my number one. If I can only pick one that would be it.
Creatine
Protein and or mass shakes in the off season
Fish oil, tudca, cycle support, magnesium, potassium
That's about it. I'm a firm believer that good whole food is absolutely the best most anabolic supplement you can take. If I had to pick two must have besides the support supplements I would pick the intra md without a doubt and probably a good protein powder just help me get that extra protein and calories in the off-season.
Tweetyeah pre workouts are good little boost. i like to cycle them in and out with different ones and then go off with coffee only for periods myself. their are tons of chems and other stuff in their and it gives the old body a break. at least for this guy.
intra md. yep never was one to buy into intra workout formulas and the hoopla but after taking guidance from the man himself if it is all i can get ahold of is intra then that is what i am having. recovery is stupid with that stuff
creatine: another solid staple. atp and all the other benefits it brings and it's cheap too so no point in not having it in the lineup
protein yep always good to plus up the numbers or instead of hitting the dollar menu in a pinch you can have a nice shake haha. but the dollar menu is so tasty as well.
support products. yep looks like you have pretty much the basis covered. only thing i would mention that i learned from tgb is we need to switch up gears with some of the product we use. like i went from the cycle support to the aminis cordis to change mine up.
got a good topic going here and i have a bunch in mind that i am anxious to see if anyone else uses

TweetYeah I won't for a second claim that a pre-workout is an absolute necessity. But I got to admit I love my NO Xplode ha ha. You're right now definitely a good idea to take a break of that stuff. That's definitely happening after this comp. I will look into switching up the cycle support, thanks brother. Syntha 6 is my absolute favorite tasting protein powder but I try not to use it because it's so high in carbs. You know a great tasting low carb whey powder that comes in a lot of different tasty flavors brother? If you had to choos two guns what would yours be and why?
TweetLiv 52 DS (Two a Day)
Nac 1200mg (600mg x2 in the AM)
Multi (wal mart stuff)
Multi Pack (I really like arnolds)
Pre work wold be Psyched or Jack'd u UP ...... Even better TNE or Tren Base.
TweetDamn do I love supplements !!! It took me a long time to figure out what does and does not work for me !!
#1 Mass Gain Protein : I for one am a hard gainer, and w/ a lot of trial and error have found a Mass Gain protein that tastes great, with high quality ingredients. I don't always have time to make a meal but this way I ensure my body takes in the calories and carbs it needs to maintain my goals !!!
#2 Creatine : I've always made Creatine a staple supplement in my diet ! With only 5-10 grams a day, usually on workout days, it fits my needs and helps on keeping my weight up . Has to be Creatine Monohydrate !!!
#3 Carb Powder : I just recently added this to my supplement intake after a lot of help from 2 good friends here , MM & Guns , and it's made a crazy difference w/ my weight and strength increase. Was in need of breaking a plateau and found out that my carb intake wasn't sufficient , but w/ this it gave me the boost I needed !!
#4 Multi-Vitamin : Until Recent I really thought that w/ supps and food I wouldn't need a Multi. But as most now , we don't always make the best decisions when food consumption is discussed , but w/ takin a Multi I've found my energy and over all well being has increased !!
#5 FishOil : Haven't always been a fan of FishOil , but with alittle FishOil ed and some good old Deca or NPP my elbows don't scream as much anymore !!
#6 Liver Cleanser/Detox : I will never again run a cycle without a good Liver Cleanser , EVER !!! Had a scare a few weeks back , ended up in the hospital and found elevated enzyme levels for my liver . Could have been a number of things, but a good Liver Cleanser speaks for itself. We'd be stupid not to have a good supply at hand !!!
#7 Top Favorites : MY Supplements :
Test/Tren/Deca/NPP/Mast/EQ/Dbol/Drol/Halo
Some of my favorite " Supplements " !!!
There's def more , these are just a few !!!
TweetAs far as the intra md goes well. I used to be the typical post workout shake with carbs creatine and glutamine guy. Ever since guns got me on the vitargo with protein and most recently intra md I have noticed an increase in performance and recovery. Now I use my intra md and eat an awesome meal about 45- 60 min later along with some creatine. I'd recommend it to any type of weight/ strength training athlete.

TweetI stay on these year around:
multi-v (cheap wal mart or walgreens)
fish oil-1000mg at least twice a day

saw plametto-160mg 2x a day
magenesium-250 once or twice a day ( My bloods always show low magenesium)
Cranberry-250mg ed
Coq-10- 100 ed
Different kinds of probitcs once to twice a day
Various kinds of a whey protein- 50g-80 one post worout ad one pre bed
Valerian Root-400mg-600mg(Use it most nights bc I have sleep problems)
These I take at different times depending on cycles or as needed:
Creatine 5g just cheap unflavored kinds (I use it in cycles through out the year)
Nac- with oral cycles for extra support
Casin Protein: 80mg prebed, I use it often for my night protein but Iv been slacking havent had it in a while
Gaba-3g close to bed
meletoninon as needed 5g prebed
St, john's wort 300mg as needed (Idk how much ot actually helps but I tke it when im under stress)
Vit C-just as needed when sick
pre workouts- I use alot of differnt kinds I take them about once a week or so when im not really ready to go that day.
Some sort of test booster- I've used one from MR.Supps the last few times. Inbtween cycles, I've used various ingredients o combinations of several.
I know thats ALOT of supps, but like i said some arent used all the time. Im very paranoid about my health after the wreck i was in and such bad injueris. So I like to have all possible bases covered.
That absolutely everything I ever use. I just went ahead and went into detail. If someone wonders why I use something,I will be glad to explain more.

TweetMulti
Vitargo
Protein
Fish oil
When I get close to a show I will drop all shakes and only stay with a multi and fish oil. IMO if I can get it from my food then by all means I'm going too.
