So I am going to be doing a show in August and want some input on acceptable and unacceptable foods, drinks, spices please!!!!

Feel free to add suggestions especially to curb sugar cravings very very welcome!!!!!

      Drinks.
Zevia (stevia sweetened zero calorie pop)
      Carbonated water (ie perrier/lemon perrier)
Plain Teas unsweetened or stevia sweetened
      Lemonade (homemade w stevia)

      Sweets.
Sugar free syrup, jelly, caramel sauce, etc (all Walden farms sweetened with sucralose)
      Stevia of course
Sweetener in coffee (sucralose only no aspartame or stevia depending what's available)
      Sugar free coffee syrups

      Sauces.
Hot sauce calorie free of course
Calorie free salad dressing, pasta sauce, dips (all Walden farms as well)
      Vanilla extract

      Spices.
      Nutmeg
      Cinnamon
      Curry
      Tumeric
      Ceyenne
      Paprika
      Tumeric
      Oregano basil etc?
      Pepper mmmm
      SALT????????

So I make s homemade rice pudding with stevia
      Cinnamon
      Vanilla extract
And milk normally but just enough to mix maybe use low calorie almond milk instead? Awesome easy breakfast when working

My gf makes me roasted yams with
      Stevia
      Cinnamon
      Nutmeg
And olive oil but I have told her we will need to track it or not use any depending on how much fat I am allowed not sure yet.

She also makes curried rice with coconut milk and curry but we will get rid of coconut milk and just do curry.

Please feel free to say which are a absolute no and which are to be limited ie salt...
Please only if you have the experience and know for sure not just think something can or cannot be eaten....

      Thank you

      Sincerely
      rNixon

I mean to me if you use any of it right and moderately you should be ok. I know you want to have low sodium and shed all you water wight. But before it gets very close you still need a little salt to stay hydrated.

the only things that i actually consider to be a free food on a contest prep diet would be green veges. you also have to be very very easy with the sugar free condiments because some are pretty stupid high in cals which can and will add up on you very quickly. also no diary unless you are a freak of nature and your body tolerates it very very well which not many people do. some additions you can look at as a small sugar craving crushers are:

      sugar free jello
sugar free water flavors (like kool aid)
mhp protein pudding (diary free lactose free and very little carbs) kinda tastes powdery to me but it is still pretty tasty
mustard mustard and more mustard. djon mustard spicy brown are all good and have no cals. mustard pretty much kills the taste of everything
      mrs dash spice blends
old bay seasoning (gusto told me about this one) i havent personally used it yet
paprika gives a nice smokey almost sweet flavor

😕 lol all those sauces are calorie free and would definitely be in moderation. ..

What about the recipes I listed with some of those are they ok or do I gotta go plain hardcore?

their are some people that can tolerate it but they are few and far between. i just tell everyone to eliminate it just to be on the safe side cause you damn sure dont want to be crapping your brains out or bloated up while starving a bit
