TweetIs dieting for females the same as it is for males? I have recently switched my diet and my girlfriend keeps stealing all my food ahaha. Obviously she isnt eating the whole meal Im almost literally twice her weight but she asked my tonight if I could make her a meal plan.
I am so ignorant and lost when it comes to female dieting and workouts.
Does the basic 1.5-2g protein - per pound, carb .5-1g carb - per pound rule still followed for a female or is it reduced?
Right now my diet is extremely simple mainly for cost reasons. Mixed veggies, peanut butter, eggs, oats, rice, chicken, fish, and occasionally red meat.
I'm in taking around 2,600 calories, 360-400g of protein, around 30g of sugar, right around 200g of carbs, and around 30-40g of fat.
I cycle my carbs down every 2 days until I reach 0 per day then I start back at 200. On low cal days I take in some coconut oil.
Based upon this can I just use this same diet but redo everything so suite her weight?

I think you can do exactly what you are doing for her as well. Like you said, just cut down on the portions. The only thinhg I may suggest is to keep her around 1gram of protein per lb of bodyweight and then adjust the carbs and good fats. So kind of a 40/30/30 ration, proetin, carb, fats. I am not sure exactly what her goals are but she should absolutely not go lower than 1300 calories a day, again, goals and stats come into play here. If you decide to just have her follow the same thing you do but cut in half, I still think it will be beneficial and of no harm. I have done this with Fuzo because I of course dont require as much as as he does so i just double or even triple what I eat, lol.

TweetI've seen her log ill check it out again though with more detail this time.
Thanks baby that's what I figured. She has kind of the saw goals as i do. I am trying to lose weight and gain strength she just wana to drop fat and gain some definition. I will play with the numbers and see what I can come up with for her. I'm sure it won't be to hard now that I know it's somewhat the same principal.

Things also to consider with women are their ages to. Hormones tend to be different at different stages of life and there fore sometimes altering your diet to that, as well, is helpful.

Tweeti can make it even more simple for you and she wont have to eliminate anything she likes for the most part:
2 days 2k cals
2 days 1800 cals
2 days 1600 cals
2 days 14-1500 cals
repeat the process. this should keep the lose consistent allow her plenty of food options and keep her sane. i like to have a cheat of an extra 800-1k cals on the first 1500 cal day after two runs through the cal cycle to keep the metabolism firing and make it feel like it isnt a diet

TweetListen! I was a fat housewife just this past January til I got into the Mr & Ms Fitness Geared. After about a month in: Guns01 started helping me fix all my problem areas. Diet was where I was lacking. My husband had me working out like a maniac and eating practically nothing to try to lose the fat build up. It worked for awhile and guns was very patient with me. Finally I am following a plan where I have enough food to build good muscle and hopefully lose the rest of the body fat I want to get rid of. Any advice from guns should be followed to the T. He knows how to get results!! I am a little older and I like to have the 5 o'clock cocktails so I follow the best I can without completely disgracing him in the long run. Love to guns. As for you; I know you can do it so Just Do It! Oh and I need a picture cause I'm very visual. Even only a PM will be fine. I'm cheering.
