Tweeti do make sure it is a domestic product. watched a show on how they are raised in Asia. I will never eat Asian fish or shrimp again. mercury and pesticide levels are very high. runoff from farms where animal and human waste are used as fertilizer taints the meat too.

but like snopes said American tilapia is good to go.

i love fish and could eat salmon all the time if i had the budget for it, but tilapia? tilapia is shit. i HATE tilapia, the stuff tastes like salty muddy water, as if it was just moments ago pulled from the swamp. no matter how much seasoning i put on it that horrid flavor overwhelms it to the point that if i dont want to waste it i have to wash every bite down with water. i bought some last week just cuz it was cheaper than cod at the time, i regretted it so deeply i swore never again will i save a buck or two on tilapia.
