TweetSo i have a question for you all ive been curious about and cant dig up info on it. Lets say you are 5"11 230lbs at 15% bf and you are eating at around a maintenance level caloric wise. essentially you are eating for 230 lbs lean mass so could you repartition the fat for muscle and get to 230 at 10% for example on the same clean diet?

TweetI think it can be done in theory but I have never been able to do that. You have to be exceptionally gifted as an athlete to get to 230 pounds, and 10% b/f, at 5'11." In fact I think you have to be somewhat gifted to be able to get to 10% or less bodyfat at any bodyweight.
I think most people have to diet to lose fat, and eat surplus to gain muscle. Please let me know if you figure out how to do what you suggest.
TweetIf you are natural. If you are eating enough calories to support a 230# man at 15% bf I dont see you making that kind of "conversion" fat will never be muscle. I'm a little confused by the question.
So, you are eating clean now but lets say before you were eating like shit to get to the 15%bf. Now you have better nutrition coming in. Fueling your body better. That extra 5%bf you want to lose is not going to just leave your body with out burning it off. So, I think cardio needs to be added in.
Maybe over the period of a year you can drop the fat. Volumize your lean mass and appear to pull it off.
The best thing you got going is you have cleaned up the diet. You really need to be able to count those calories.
Best of luck,
GC
TweetThanks for the replies ive always ate moderately clean like having pizza once a week and no sweets of any kind yes i was natural with those numbers and forun out i have low test and i want to bodybuild so im going to def be getting some assistance wanna see how far i can go.i just started trt and thats the first time with any anabolics.
TweetI remembered when I weighed 310 at 30% b/f. I figured I would lose two pounds of fat per week, gain two pounds of muscle per week, and at the end of the year weigh 310, cut and shredded, and kick sand in Ronnie Coleman's face and win the Mr. Olympia that same year.
Real life doesn't really work that way though.
TweetYea maybe your right, but genetics vary from person to person hopefully it works out for me
TweetYes, I hope so too. Good luck.
TweetI think you can to a small degree. But, usually for me it's either just gain mass or lose fat.
