TweetFor me I try not to think of it as 'dieting'. Number one, I fortunately so far have never had to 'diet' cause I have always been thin, however, it does get harder as we age. I think of it as changing my eating style to live healthy, maintain a good weight and feel good. Also, keeping your diet with a variety helps too. Often I read about people who are getting ready to compete and I think, how boring it looks about what they eat. I realize that they do this because they are working towards a goal in competing and looking their best on that stage. I personally would find it hard to eat that way forever unless I was competing.
