      In the process of illuminating processed foods (which I never have much) but I've always used a pay workout carb like waxy maize, Karbolyn, etc.

      Whatever happened to honey? I used to use honey after sports in high school and I take honey to ward off allergens by using local honey. So got me thinking why can't honey be used to spoke insulin for post workout shake? Seems too simple? Do we over think this post workout carb thing?

      Thoughts?

      Buy local minimally processed honey, its good for your immune system and natural way to prevent allergies too.

      when im not cutting thats exactly what i use. its too difficult to find a gluten free carb product that is manufactured in a gluten free certified facility. on the up side, its just like your point in your post, its eliminating processed foods which ultimately will lead to a healthier lifestyle.

      Thats right, I never ate really bad anyway, but after i started reading about gluten and all the other crap they put in food, I've been trying to get me and my family organic food when I can.

      The local honey helps with seasonal allergies because the bees harvest pollen from the plants in your area and when you eat it, it kinda vaccinates you so to say from those allergens, but you have to consume it on a regular basis for it to work.

      Yes it can be helpful for allergies but there are still people who honey actually aggravates their allergies. Especially ones allergic to pollen. Everything, even natural things, are a trial and error sort of thing.


      Like myself I am allergice to ragweed and because of it I have developed an allergy to bananas and some melons too. WEird, huh?

      i have heard this is an added benefit with the consumption of local organic honey too, however not only would you need to eat it on a regular basis to assist with allergies but also for several months at a time.
