TweetNot a scale for food, a scale for my body! Need to track weight to make sure I'm gaining really. Don't have one in the house.
TweetOR MODERATION.
If you have a costco near you they have a really nice scale in the kitchen section. Maybe 15 bucks. I use that sometimes but its not as crucial for me.

I'd go to planet fitness, but I'd hate to set off the Lunk Alarm.
Tweetyou can pick up a cheap one at Target or Walmart. You don't need anything fancy. Also, saty off the scale, for yourself, and do some measurements. Or just guage on how your clothes fit as scales are no always a good way of guaging success

Tweeti think everyone pretty much stated everything in regards to your question. so for me simply im just going to point out how i started out. figure out your goal and the calories needed to get there. write out a nutrition plan defining your macros and breaking them out per meal. then buy a scale so you can weigh your food. BOOM done.
whats great about this forum is that if your not certain about your meal plan you can post it on here and people will help you tweak it. there are some excellent knowledgeable fellas on here that will put you in the right direction.
i still weigh my food to this day bc i want to make sure that im not eating less than 8 oz of meat per meal.
TweetPersonaly I don't watch my body weight that closely. When I'm trying to gain size, which is all the time, I tape myself. .. arms, chest, and thighs....

TweetOops. Was thinking he meant food scale.
TweetThis is what I meant too, that he can get a cheap one at Walmart. Just wanted to tell him not to totally guage his gain/loss by a regular scale

TweetCan you gauge your gains without your weight? Or am I misunderstanding?

TweetYep. I agree completely. If pants fit tighter you're making changes. If you spend an extra 5 to 45 minutes flexing in the mirror you're making changes.

Tweeteat in the middle of the night and you will definitely gain weight, lol
