Tweetnot really relivant to what im asking but to clarify.... I have been working out for almost 20 years now. Been clean and natural the past 6.
Tweetwhats up everyone.
quick background... 35 Yo. 6'3 210 (little over weight right now due to a broken foot) Have been working out clean for about 6 years now.
I had my doc check my test levels which came back at372. The acceptable range acording to the doctors print out is 241-827. My doctor also said they were ok. I feel 372 is on the low side??? What does everyone else think about 372 for natural levels of a 35 year old male? I feel like i have been displaying some signs of lot Test ( poor sleep, so so moods, less energy, lower libido). Is 35 too young to try and get a doc to perscribe andro gel or some sort of HRT? Has anyone here been through this yet? was it tough to get a doc to perscribe HRT? What does it run you per month?
Any thoughts, feedback, advice is welcome.
thanks!!

TweetYes do your own trt. 200 mg test e or c per week would put you in the 800 or 900 range
TweetMy doc's range started at 300. I tested at 253 and got hrt. I take 100mg per week and my levels are at 1400+ right now after starting in January. It only costs me about 15.00 every couple of months including syringes. My insurance wouldn't cover it unless it was low...which it was so the doc had no issues. But he didn't want me to get above 700-800 so he will knock my dosage back in feb which is my next appointment

TweetForget about what the doc says. You know your body, they always say "it is in the normal range for your age" but we don't want to be in the normal range for our age, lol. We want to be like it was when we were younger and felt better at a higher level. I have done a lot of reading about declining hormones with age and most doctors think we should just accept these changes, but why should we? It is our declining hormones that start to mess with our cholesterol, thyroid and the list goes on. Suzanne Somers writes some very good books on aging and hormones and the books are not just geared towards women. Was it your rgular doctor that checked it? If so, maybe try seeing a urologist!

Tweetim guessing at my age, they wont consider my levels low enough to justify putting me on TRT. Maybe if I pay out the A$$ to go to some HRT clinic but i dont think my regular doc will get behind this. I am almost at 400 but i want to be up closer to 800-1000
TweetI'm 28 and I want my T levels to be >1500 forever haha
TweetI suppose he is my regular doc.... i just use a doc in a box. so, he is my most regular doc. I never pushed the issue of wanting to try HRT. I could try discussing it with him. tell him i am feeling effects and what I want to do. maybe if he isnt willing to perscribe fore me, he might point me in the right direction. I work in a field where it is in my best interest to be at the top of my game physically and i am starting to feel somewhat hindered.
Tweetlong time no see brotha

TweetThanks bud.. Im going to try and check in more reguarly. Been getting over a broken foot and need to pick up my training to get back on track.
TweetIf you want a truly accurate reading, go to an endo. They will be much more likely to put you on than a general physician.
