TweetColder the better. I'd freeze two meals like you said and let them thaw out for days for and five.
TweetI work for a week at a time and pre-cook all of my food before I leave home. I usually store 5 days worth in the fridge but won't go any longer than that because I feel that's already pushing the limits before it goes bad. I was wondering what I can do for the last two days. I can usually get rice and potatoes while I'm here so those aren't to big of a deal, it's storing my meat that I'm really concerned about. Could I freeze it than leave it in the fridge and by day 6-7 it should be unthawed and good to eat?

TweetOxygen is the enemy here. Get a food saver system or equivalent to remove as much oxygen as possible.
TweetDefinitely agree with this brother. This will let you freeze food for so much longer while keeping it fresh.
TweetI picked up one of these and will be testing it out soon. I'm hoping it's worth the money I spent.

TweetThese are awsome and worth it. I used to buy meat in bulk at Sam's Club and I used this all of the time.
