TweetSounds like a scam that is scientifically proven to be bullshit. A placebo works just as good. Yet people are still out there forking out money to these HCG weight loss clinics. 500 calories a day?
TweetThe hCG diet combines using a human chorionic gonadotropin (hCG) hormone supplement and restricting food intake to 500 calories a day. However, hCG weight loss products are illegal in the United States, and there is no evidence to show that the diet is safe or effective. Learn more here.

TweetThese dumb diet gimmicks drive me crazy. Ignorant people think oh wow this HCG is making me lose weight. Nope, the fact that you're only eating 500 calories a day is why you're losing weight lol. And that's a horrible way to go about it as well. Boggles my mind that people actually invest money in these diet gimmicks.
TweetHow do they say hcg helps fat burning other than increase of hormones?

Tweetno clue because as soon as i saw 500 cal intake daily, i didnt bother to look at any of the other info when it first came out. people are stupid when it comes to fad and craziness. the heart soup diet was the same way back in the early 2000s. i knew tons of morons trying that out and they are all lost weight. then turned around and gained even more when they stopped. what they failed to read was it was used to prep people for heart surgery, not as an extended plan for weight loss
